The light in Los Angeles is at times brittle and multi-directional, almost crystalline. At other times it is ambient, general and indistinct. A few of the Canson watercolor papers that I work with capture these ephemeral effects perfectly. Otherwise, this series is all about the ubiquitous palm trees and domestic architecture.
